Are your Google Ads actually profitable? Enter your ad spend, conversions, revenue and profit margin. We'll show your return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per lead, break-even ROAS and profit after ads.
Add what you spent on ads and how many leads or sales came from them.
Enter the revenue those conversions brought in and your profit margin.
Compare your ROAS with your break-even ROAS to see if your ads make money.
ROAS (return on ad spend) is the revenue you earn for every unit of currency spent on ads: ROAS = revenue ÷ ad spend. A ROAS of 4x means RM4 of revenue for every RM1 spent.
Cost per lead = ad spend ÷ conversions. It's the number most service businesses track, because revenue often arrives weeks later.
Revenue isn't profit. If your margin is 40%, you only keep RM0.40 of every RM1 in revenue, so you need at least RM2.50 back for every RM1 spent just to break even. That's your break-even ROAS = 1 ÷ profit margin.
So there's no single "good ROAS". A 3x ROAS is excellent for a high-margin service and a loss for a low-margin product.
Estimate the revenue: multiply your leads by your close rate and your average sale value. For example, 40 leads × 25% close rate × RM800 = RM8,000 revenue. Our break-even CPC calculator does this the other way round, and tells you the most you can pay per click.
If customers buy repeatedly, using lifetime revenue gives a fairer picture. Just be consistent, and be honest about how long it takes to earn it back.
